FEED THE CITY

We partner with food banks in Ottawa, Ontario to deliver emergency food to community members who would not otherwise be able to access it.

WHO WE ARE

Food insecurity in Ottawa is rising and members of our community are being left behind. People unable to physically access the food bank and bring food home are in need of “last mile” delivery. That’s where Feed The City helps.

At Feed The City, we are dedicated to helping bridge the gap for community members facing food insecurity.  Volunteer drivers distribute essential food to community members unable to physically get to their local food bank. We believe that no one should go hungry, and we work tirelessly to ensure that our community members have access to nutritious emergency food.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that we gather and work on Indigenous lands of the Anishinabe Algonquin Nation and that these are unceded territories. Feed The City is grateful for the opportunity to offer delivery of fresh and nutritious food to those in need, from the land and waters that have been taken care of by Indigenous peoples since time immemorial.
